Welcome back to my Re-Imagineering of Epcot Center! For this installment, we are taking on Future World West, home to the Soarin', Nemo and... not much else. Let's change that shall we?
Future World West
Future World West will include The Seas with Nemo and Friends, The Land and Journey Into Imagination.
The Seas is in a pretty good spot right now. The only change I would make is to re-theme the Seabase into Sea Life Aquarium from Finding Dory. Other than that, it's fine the way it is.
The Land Pavilion is also in a pretty good spot, but I do feel a few changes need to be made to further improve the pavilion.
Soarin' Around the World opened in 2016 and is still going quite strong. Nothing to see here. Moving on...
Living With The Land is in a pretty good spot, but has gotten kinda dated over the years. To fix this, I would update the opening storm scene with some more modern tech. The barn scene videos would all be updated with new projectors and video content. The ride's finale and narration would also be updated.
Circle of Life has been out of date for a long period of time. It is a film that just isn't relevent anymore, so in order to freshen it up, I'm bringing in a beloved newer IP that fits the Land and it's conservation film perfectly: Wall-E.
Wall-E's Earth Adventure (Working Title) would be a conservation film that uses characters from the Disney-Pixar film to educate and inform guests about why it is important to protect The Land.

Journey Into Imagination use to be one of the signature attractions of Future World. It was a stunning dark ride that truly showcased what Imagination can do.,When the attraction was redone in 1999 and then again in 2002, the attraction lost a huge part of the ride path and it's heart. My goal with the re-imagineered Imagination Pavilion is to bring back the sense of wonder and, well imagination, back to the Imagination Pavilion. The new look pavilion will include Journey Into Imagination, Imageworks and the 4-D film Figment's Big Movie.
Let's start with the obvious: Dreamfinder is back! The new Journey Into Imagination would restore the original ride's track layout and now feature a ton of interactive elements that guests can help change with on ride tools and a new mobile app simply called the Imagination App. The plot would once again showcase Dreamfinder creating a Figment of his imagination who would help the passengers discover their own little spark by using their onboard paintbrush. The brush would interact with certain show scenes and alter them based on guest gestures. You can add even more to the creativity using the app which customizes the experience further. The ride would exit into the gift shop as well as the entrance to the new Imageworks, which is once again upstairs.
The idea with the new Imageworks is to further a guest's experience on the ride with even more ways to let your imagination run wild. The Imagination app would offer more ways to interact with Imageworks as well as an alternate way to save some of your creations besides e-mailing a link. Some classic Imageworks attractions such as the rainbow tunnel and Dreamfinder's Cinema would return along with new interactive exhibits.
The final piece of the puzzle of the new look Imagination Pavilion is Figment's Big Movie. This would be an interactive 4-D film that can be customized using the Imagination App as well as suggestions from the audience. An Imagination Guide will be presenting a state of the art film when Figment interjects and takes everything off the rails. Blue and red colored buttons will be added to each seat armrest which allows the guest to vote on what they want to see next. Guests with the Imagination App have exclusive sections they can interact with to add more creative touches to the film. The result is Figment's Big Movie, and it should be one to laugh at.
Nikon would be pursued to sponsor the pavilion.
That's all she wrote! Next time we will begin to dive into World Showcase as we continue our Re-Imagineering of Epcot Center!
