For today's Top 5, we visit 5 attractions that I personally feel aren't given enough credit for what they are. Some are hated by a certain group, others nobody visits, but they all should get more credit than they do. I present the Top 5 Under Appreciated Attractions!
5. Mission: SPACE (Epcot)
Yes, it replaced arguably the best dark ride in Disney history (Horizons) but Mission: SPACE is a solid thrill ride on it's own right. It's intense, has the most immersive theme at Epcot and lets you press buttons. How fun is that?
4. Primeval Whirl (DAK)
Many people hate Primeval Whirl because they hate Dinorama. Weather you dislike the land or not, you have to admit It's a really enjoyable spinning wild mouse coaster in a park with very few rides...
#hatersgonnahate
3. Captain EO
This 80s "classic" was revived after Michael Jackson's untimely death, but takes us back to a time where he was truly the King of Pop. Does it hold up well? Not really, but it's a great dose of 80s cheesiness that's still a blast to watch.
2. The Great Movie Ride (DHS)
GMR has always been one of my favorite rides. Although it needs some attention, it's still a classic and one of Disney's best surviving dark rides. It's also a one of a kind attraction that just doesn't get the credit it deserves... Now we just need to get rid of that hat blocking the entrance...
1. The American Idol Experience (DHS)
The best show nobody saw. Whether you like American Idol or not, this is a great show. It's always great to see the stories of the participants and why singing is such a passion. You saw stinkers, but also some outstanding performances. Go see it while you can, because the journey ends soon...
R.I.P The American Idol Experience
2009 - 2015
That's all for this countdown. Two more to go before we're caught up!
